Founded in 1958, Dale Yacht Club has a long tradition in both dinghy and cruiser sailing. Situated at the western end of the Milford Haven waterway, we have the benefit of a large, sheltered bay which provides an excellent, safe dinghy sailing area.

Dinghy racing takes place every Thursday and Sunday during the main season with the Sunday series continuing until late autumn. Junior sailing training sessions take place through the summer. Dale Yacht Club hosts a number of regattas during the year - both its own events and as host for other fleets.

Membership

Membership of Dale Yacht Club enables members to make use of the club facilities and to take part in sailing tuition courses. Members may also apply for dinghy and tender parking spaces (see below).

The showers, toilets and changing rooms at the club are available at all times between 1st April and 31st October. When the front door is closed it will be necessary to enter the code into the security lock - if you do not know the code then please contact us using the contact email address on this website.

Subscriptions

Membership of Dale Yacht Club is at the following rates:

Family membership £40 per annum

Single membership £30 per annum

Junior membership £7 per annum (under 18)

Family membership covers up to two adults and any number of children.

Payments are due on the 1st January and can be made by cheque or Standing Order. (We would encourage members to pay by Standing Order as it saves the club money and makes life easier for the volunteer treasurer and membership secretary)

Temporary family membership, which lasts one month, is available for £15 and is intended for use by summer visitors.

Dinghy parking and Tender parking

Members are entitled to apply, on an annual basis, for a dinghy parking space on the grass verge or a space in the tender park between 1st April and 31st October. Applications should be made before the 28th February using the form on the "FORMS" section of this website. An SAE must be included with the application.
